Sri Sri Sri Sidhibinayakya Pitha: Sri Sri Sri Sidhibinayakya Pitha is amongst the famous religious destinations in Berhampur. This temple is one of the largest Ganesh or Ganapati Temples in the State of Odisha. It is located near the Giri Road in Berhampur.
Siddha Bhairavi: This religious destination derives its name from it’s the goddess Maa Bhairabee. This place is found at the village of Mantridi. The unique feature of the idol that is it is carved in with one leg and three hands, makes it even more famous. It was placed in the temple in the year 1937. This place has now become a very important Shakti Pith. People from nearby areas and cities visit this shrine almost every day. There is huge crowd during the Sankranti days.
Taptapani: Taptapani is another famous tourist destination and it is known for its hot springs. It is elevated at about 1,800 feet above the sea level. The Taptapani is located at about 56 kilometers away from the Berhampur’s railway station. Another temple known as the Kandimata Temple is situated nearby along with a deer park which is maintained by the forest department.
Mahendragiri: Mahendragiri is a 1500 meter tall hill found amidst the evergreen forests which add to the scenic beauty in Berhampur. A rivulet known as Mahendra Tanaya flows down this hill. This place also has interesting and curious archaeological remains from the times of the Ramayana and Mahabharata which attracts tourists from all over India.
